About

A place to slow down, breathe and reconnect

Pause and Bloom Yoga was created as a softer, more mindful approach to yoga—a space to step away from the pace and noise of everyday life, and take a moment to simply be.

Rooted in Skipton, Pause and Bloom Yoga offers gentle slow flow, yin and restorative practices that support both physical and emotional wellbeing. Each class is an invitation to slow down, release tension and reconnect with yourself – finding a sense of ease in both body and mind.

Whether you’re new to yoga, returning after time away, moving through a period of stress, or simply seeking a more supportive and nurturing way to move, you are warmly welcome here.

My Story

Hi, I’m Victoria, founder of Pause amd Bloom Yoga.

Yoga came into my life as a way to slow down and reconnect with myself. What began as a physical practice gradually became something much deeper – a way to find calm, create space and feel more at ease in my body and mind.

When I discovered Yin Yoga, I felt an immediate connection to its slower, more mindful approach. It encouraged stillness, patience and listening, rather than pushing or striving – something that felt both grounding and supportive.

During my cancer journey which has been long and incredibly difficult yoga became something I could return to when everything felt overwhelming – a place to breathe, to reconnect, and to find moments of steadiness.

That’s what led me here. I stepped away from my corporate career in HR and retrained as a yoga teacher, creating Pause and Bloom Yoga as a space for others to find that same sense of support, calm and connection.

This experience continues to shape the way I teach today. I believe yoga should feel welcoming, supportive and accessible to everyone, whatever you’re moving through. My aim is to create calm, nurturing spaces where you can slow down, soften and simply be yourself.

My Teaching Style

My teaching is rooted in yin and gentle, mindful movement, with a focus on slowing down and creating space within both body and mind.

Classes are designed to feel welcoming and non-intimidating, whether you’re completely new to yoga or returning after time away. Movement is guided by the breath, with an emphasis on listening to your body and moving at your own pace.

Each session weaves together relaxation and mindfulness, offering a supportive space to soften, release tension and simply be.

I believe yoga doesn’t have to be fast-paced to be powerful.
